very nice , very clean and neat !!! skin looks great from the pics .

i could go on about kiwa, sashi (koi jargon) , but its a kohaku!! that's extremely clean and tidy ,for me all in the right places !!

i'l let one of the experts go into all the detail and talk koi gobbledygook , enjoy the koi kevin , as its a belter ;)

Seeing as Kevin has TOLD me I have to comment, here goes;

This Kohaku has the full body type that you see on many of the Tosai there. This will hopefully continue to grow and will attain a good size with the body style I described as 'elegant' viewtopic.php?f=6&t=26 although with this Koi I think it will have a bit more volume as the frame is so big.
The only slight concern that can be had with this body type is that the Koi does not become too fat around the middle.
I know the Beni is very good and deep as I selected this Koi with Kevin in Japan, lets hope it likes his poxy soft Somerset water ;) .
I am not going to start talking about sashi and kiwa as it is not an element of appreciation that should be used to justfy or judge a Koi so young. I have never sold a Koi and used these atributes to procure a sale and never has a breeder tried the same to me.

OK Kevin?
Tell them and they will forget. Show them, and they may not remember. Involve them, and they will understand.
